another one of the few decent shots i got from my trip to the "ice on whyte" exhibit. i took around 50 snaps but only a few passed my (very low) standard, which basically means all my shots on that day were crap. i'm blaming it on the gloomy weather though =)

as for this image, i wish i spent more time with this unnoticed beauty. i remember i was running out of idea on what to shoot and decided to give this saw a single snap. i was standing close to it and just pointed my camera down to the ground, hence the very bad angle. i should have knelt down and search for more flattering angles, i'm pretty sure there are. that's a lesson learned. also to be honest, this is heavily cropped, like only 30% of the whole image, the rest are just ice =)
