went to check out the ice sculpting exhibit at whyte ave last weekend. unfortunately, the sun didn't came out so it was really a gloomy day. and with the temperature on the plus scale, most of the sculpture were melting. some of the delicate ones (like the one above) even broke. the exhibit will run until mid feb, so hopefully more sculpture would have been added when i come back. being new to winter land, i didn't realize it is better to see it at night as they have coloured lights set-up on most of the sculpture, so i'll definitely come at night on my next visit.
